Glassblowing

Dating back to ancient B.C. artisans, glass made its way from Egypt all the way to then-Roman Syria around the 1st century. It is there that glassblowing, as we know it today, has its roots. This could explain why the Italians have mastered this art form.

Our glassblowing studio contains two furnaces, three glory holes and three annealers. They are the heart of the hot shop. There are free demonstrations DAILY so stop by the studio and engage with our artisans.

If you are an artist looking for a place to work, well, we offer studio rental too. We prefer artists who are responsible and mindful of their surroundings. Each person is required to visit our studio and meet with the office staff as well as our hot shop tech before any rental agreement can be made. Please contact us via email if you'd like more rental information.
