located in the American Sector,
New Orleans School of GlassWorks & Printmaking Studio
has been a non-profit studio & gallery since 1990. As the South’s largest studio of contemporary art, we offer: glassblowing & casting, scientific glass torchworking, stained glass, silver alchemy jewelry, copper enameling, printmaking, engraving, paper marbling, & paper engineering (pop-up books). Educational & cultural exhibits in the front room,

, complement the spacious working artist studios.
The studio serves multiple purposes & provides an opportunity for
BREATHTAKING FREE DAILY DEMONSTRATIONS
by local master craftsmen, often collaborating with international artisans in the traditional, elegant European style.

VISITORS
Group Events, Tours & Receptions
Visiting groups can arrange narrated demonstrations in the areas of glassblowing, glass casting, glass torch working & printmaking. Narrated demonstrations can be complemented by “Design & Wine” events, allowing group members to design wine glasses that the glass artisans will execute while enjoying a tasting of distinctive wine and cheese pairings. The interactions found between artists and guests in each studio area produce an inimitable setting, ideal for team building events and social mixers alike.
Group Events available Monday – Friday, 10am – 4pm. Saturdays reserved for special occasion events. Receptions and wine tastings are scheduled in the evenings. Please contact us to schedule your next group event.

OUR STUDIOS
Housed in a large, restored, historic brick building from the 1800's in the Arts District of the American Sector, the New Orleans School of GlassWorks & Printmaking Studio is the South's largest facility, incorporating the following studios:

The studio serves multiple purposes and provides an opportunity for visitors to see breathtaking, FREE DAILY DEMONSTRATIONS by master craftsmen, blowing glass in the traditional, elegant, European style.
